Established in 1906, H. McIlchere & Son offers a wide range of food, snacks and carry-out meals. The shop is supplied by local family company Argyll Bakeries.

Enjoy our fresh bread, rolls, barms, teabread, cakes and fresh cream cakes daily. We have a great selection of cold meats, home-made coleslaw, rolls and sandwiches. We sell delicious home-made soup, hot filled rolls, tea and coffee.

If you are looking for carry-out meals, try our fish and chips, chicken and chips, home-made curry and rice, Cajun beef, and beef stroganoff. There are regular changes to the daily menu.

We also stock a small selection of gifts, including local cheeses, Arran jams, shortbread and boxes
of fudge.
