Southend

Southend is a 10 mile (16 km) car journey from Campbeltown along the B842 turning left at Stewarton village for Southend. If you would like a more scenic route, along a single track road, about 12 miles (19 km), then follow Hall Street past the cinema and along Kilkerran Road and Davaar Island. You will be able to see views of Alisa Craig, and the Islands Sanda, Sheep and Glunimore.

Southend is a small village surrounded by history, beaches, wildlife and great views with a variety of activities to see and do.

The village shop has a licensed tearoom and the Argyll Arms hotel has accommodation and serves meals. Bed & Breakfast and self catering are available at local farms. The caravan site at Machribeg is open Easter to September.
