A.P. Taylor Manshop was established in 1952 after the Taylor family purchased the premises from Boots the chemists. The business was run by the Taylor family until 1993 when Cameron MacAlister and John McCormick (two employees) bought it over. The business is now owned and run by John McCormick after the retiral of Cameron MacAlister, although the shop is still owned by Mr Taylor.

John offers an excellent service and stocks many popular brand names including Ben Sherman, Pringle, Wrangler, Peter England, Wolsey, Douglas and Grahame and many more. His is the only shop in Kintyre to supply a kilt hire service with a selection of popular tartans and Jacobian outfits.
