Fishing - Conieglen River - OS Grid NR693112

A small river, just off the B842 road to Southend. Pennygowan is where you cross a humped backed bridge on the road. The River is fly only except when it is in spate, when you can use a spinner or worm. Fishing above Pennygowan is not allowed.
Wildlife
You may see a variety of birds such as Oystercatchers, Herons, Skylarks. Other animals including Seals (Keil Point OS Grid NR675076), Dolphins, Otters (Carskey Bay OS Grid NR658076), and Deer may be seen. The area also has an abundance of wild flowers including primroses, bluebells and thrift.
